Who is BIL Technologies?

BIL Technologies is a science and technology business providing services to industries that manufacture goods using raw materials drawn from the biosphere.  In particular BIL Technologies offer expert services in the utilisation of woody or ligno-cellulosic materials. Consequently BIL Technologies staff are most often found in wood processing plants or a forest.

Our business goal is to develop and support the use of renewable bio-resources by human society and by doing so, become a leader in a field we believe will be a major contributor to future manufacturing industry worldwide.

The business was formed in 2000, and comprises 5 staff that can provide customers a full range of relevant skills from resource management, complex computer based process simulation, numerical analysis and problem solving to biochemistry, genetics and natural resource management.

BIL technologies boasts considerable experience in these fields as well as supporting new graduates that provide the youth and innovation that is central to our business. Indeed many of the staff at BIL Technologies are currently involved in postgraduate research projects and are continuously involved in improving their skills base and knowledge.

The service and products supplied by BIL Technologies fall into two broad classes.  Firstly, we can provide scientific and technical services such as process design and optimisation and product quality monitoring, that relate management of current manufacturing systems.  Secondly BIL Technologies offers education, research and development services that can be exploited to educate key staff to advanced levels in the science of biomaterials and related products, or to develop new products and processes that expand market or improve competitive advantage.

BIL Technologies is ideally suited to those businesses that are seeking to enhance or expand their enterprises through the application of technology and innovation, but do not have the technical and scientific staff in house, and see the advantage in accessing these skills from a discrete, private sector service provider.
